The Your Good Nature initiative re-establishes the link between people, organizations and companies that want to act responsible in a direct and tangible manner, and conservation organizations from all over the world. Conservation organizations market their products to donors via our website and gain access to funding for specific projects that would otherwise be impossible or difficult to carry out. Donors can browse the site to inform themselves on projects that need additional capital, and then select the project they want to support. Easy and possible from your armchair. This combination will generate new means for organizations to safeguard our natural world of which we all depend.
Why show my Good Nature?
Even though you will not become the personal owner of the item(s) you can buy via www.yourgoodnature.com, you will directly support a project which benefits nature! Your commitment is therefore of critical importance to the health of our global environment. Once you buy an item for an organization, you’ll receive a personalized certificate and you will be kept updated on the program you support.
What kind of organizations are involved?
Your Good Nature is an open market place, and open to organizations that work for the conservation of nature and landscapes that are in need of financial support for its work. At www.yourgoodnature.com there is neither a geographical preference, nor a specific focus on certain species. In terms of size, organizations can be large and small. Also the focus of nature conservation work differs: there are some that manage areas, and others that focus on education projects on schools, or carry out research programmes on specific animals or plants. Another variable is that organizations on www.yourgoodnature.com can be public or non-governmental. For your information we always indicate what kind of organisation it is in the description of the organisation. What they all have in common, is that they put all effort in contributing to nature conservation, and that they are in need for financial support.
Where does my money go?
The money from donations you make through this website is first collected on Your Good Nature’s bank account. Since you choose for a specific item, the money of your donation is labelled to this item. And to this item only. The money will then be transferred from Your Good Nature’s bank account to the organization that offers the products/services. Actually, the organization receives 85% of your donation and 15% is for Your Good Nature to cover expenses for the website, monitoring and all administration. This makes Your Good Nature very cost efficient. Your Good Nature offers a transparent money flow by publishing its annual reports and labels every euro that is being donated.
How do you make sure these organizations spend the money correctly?
The organizations we work with have a good reputation, locally and internationally, and a proven track record to underscore this reputation. Most of the organizations we know personally. Often they are part of a network of renown organizations, like for example within the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Apart from a personal relationship of trust, and social control, of course we have also the necessary juridical basis for the commitments required. All organizations have signed a contractual agreement where terms of conditions are defined and codes of conduct are stated in order for us to assure a correct procedure of your donation. The conservation organizations are obliged to adequately administrate financial support, and to use the support only for the specific biodiversity element or hardware that somebody has financially supported.

Are new organizations welcome to join, what criteria do they need to meet?
New organizations that desire to participate in Your Good Nature are very welcome. We have developed a specific list of screening criteria, eligibility criteria and criteria for products! As long as the organisation meets these criteria, we can proceed with the formal juridical agreement and process the organizations products on www.yourgoodnature.com.
How do I find out about the status of my donation?
As soon as you have selected an item of your interest and decided to contribute by making a donation, we ask you to develop your personal account at Your Good Nature. This will include a name, an email address and a password. You can log in any time to check your personal account. As soon as you have successfully paid, you will receive a confirmation email on the email address you provided for your personal account. Depending on the item selected the time of processing your donation can vary. Of course the local or regional purchase of the donated items is given highest priority by the participating organizations. You can find your donation added to the ‘donations made’ section at the website of www.yourgoodnature.com.

How do I pay?
Once you have added one or more contributions to your shopping cart, and you have decided that these are the items you would like to support, click on ‘pay via invoice’. You will be automatically directed to a contact sheet where we ask you to fill in all required fields. Here you can choose to receive an invoice via mail, or by post. When you sure all the information your provided is correct, click on ‘send’ button in the below. As soon as we have received your message we will process your request.
Can I buy something for someone else?
Your Good Nature is an ideal platform when in search for an original gift for the graduation party of your boss, your parent’s 25th anniversary, the wedding of relatives and friends, your colleague, best friend or neighbour. You can choose to send the certificate to the person you donate to or yourself.
Can I visit the project I have sponsored?
Your Good Nature encourages you to undertake ‘live’ visits. We are convinced it will be a very satisfying experience and our participating organizations will be happy to meet you. Please inform Your Good Nature on your plans and we can connect you to the project team. You can do this by sending your plan to us with ‘visit project x’ in subject. The visit will only take place after consultation with and consent of the participating organization. The cost of the visit, both of the visitor and the cost of the organization need to be paid for by the visitor(s).
