Wildlife Protection in the World Natural Heritage

In order to be able to protect the Jaguars and other mammals that are moving and hunting in the area of the National Park and Ecotrópica´s protected areas on the long term we need to improve many things. One is the monitoring system. We have a monitoring system in place to keep track of the species. This assists us in identifying the movement patterns of the wildlife of the region.
Also we aim to improve the adequate protection of the habitat against fires and (man-made) pollution. In general we target to protect all species from poaching and hunting. For us this is already a routine management process but we would like to intensify it. By restoring the habitat we hope that the declining wildlife populations will recuperate and get in stable condition again.
To improve our effectiveness and to achieve our goal to realise stable populations of wildlife we are in need of support. We would like to buy additional equipment such as pumps to combat fires as well as the necessary fuel and other maintenance materials for our boat and vehicles.
