Food for one orphaned Asiatic black bear for a week
52 available for €29.00 per unit
The Asiatic black bear survives only in the forests in the Himalayas and in the hills of north-east India. Black bears are hunted for their meat and skin. Rescued black bear cubs often have to endure a life-time of captivity (in large natural enclosures or in zoos). But in case we consider they have a fair chance for survival in the wild they will be prepared for rehabilitation. For bear cubs in captivity or for hand-raising bear cubs before rehabilitation they need to be fed an omnivorous diet of milk, eggs, fruits and other natural products resembling their natural diet.
