Screening criteria

Screening criteria, eligibility criteria and criteria for products

The screening criteria can be summarised in the following:

  1. we undertake in-depth desk research: screening of the website, annual reports, and the statutory articles of the organisation;
  2. we make sure we have insight whether the organisation is directly working in the field of nature conservation and can be hold solely responsible for the execution of donations made. We need to be informed in case there are any other organizations or agencies involved for an adequate execution of the donation made;
  3. we make sure the organisation fulfils all ‘added-value’ criteria: is there strong evidence that the projects of the organisation that are put forward for support do have a positive effect on nature, in a tangible, efficient and effective way;
  4. we analyse whether the budget and staffing meet the scope of the intended activities;
  5. we require a recommendation: the organisation needs to be presented by organizations in our network;
  6. It needs to be a local organization (based in the country it operates in), in order to facilitate local ownership and responsibility.

Eligibility criteria

  1. we need to be informed of any other relevant support the organisation receives. For example from other donors, states, global funds, and other relevant public and private budgets;
  2. the money donated to the projects via www.yourgoodnature.com needs to be spend the specific product/service offered, not on anything else.

Criteria for the products

  1. we evaluate whether it is possible to reach the targets of the project offered within the time frame envisaged and indicated, and the stated budget;
  2. we evaluate whether the product is actually needed and offers an added value;
  3. we need to be informed about the coordination, management, and monitoring of the execution of the products/services offered on www.yourgoodnature.com, once granted and over a longer period of time.
